The next (Monday) morning we went to Bray, a town near Shankill. We spent there was to our dirty laundry, where the owner came from Holland. Would we even need to guess, because when we arrived the next morning checkout, we had to pay double. It was not a laundry, according to the peasant.

 Anyway, we spent the day - or what's left of it - in Bray. We parked the car and passed a passage where a girl scratch tickets sold for the Children Hospice (a penny for a leppah). Bert bought one, but we had no luck. We chatted, wished her good luck and continued our way to the center.
Bert bought a CD in the CD case, Counting Crowes. Actually we preach this music to anyone who would listen. In the CD case were books with texts of Irish singing. The Wild Rover was embroidered. So we sang:


I am the Son of a Motherless Goat,
i like to Farthen in the bus or the boat.


The lady and gentleman behind the counter obviously loved it and asked where we came from. Probably the most asked question in our holiday, the questioner, the most surprising answer. They were all asked how it was possible that we spoke English very well (and so fast!). Now, eat this: we always spoke English among themselves, in fact. BBert and exercise, they say, art. Well, Bert charged the CD and we went for a takeaway sandwich takeaway coffee. We arrived in a dining facility and ordered two sandwiches. It was half past three so lunch time was long gone. The salad was so it, like the chicken. Peter took cheese, lettuce and tomato. Bert a kind of ham, with lettuce and tomato, or something. The girl was nervous when she noticed we were foreigners and, at approximately 3 times the amount we would have to pay. A more seasoned colleagues hit for her, after which we took along sandwiches and coffee. We ate the sandwich on the steps of a church and watched the people passing by. Since we took a shower and we made a chat with two elderly people from Belfast. Alan had the night before because they step away and we were worried or not one of the two had broken something. Fortunately not, but the man insisted that we came here to sit for a beer. We got a very small bottle, with about 25 cl of beer, which we have courtesy slowly drunk. After two minutes Peter took a couple of Foster's, to which we have already our chat with Belfasters had begun.
Because we were seven hours by Tanya we thanked the Irish for their beer and made ourselves ready for dinner.
